Client Information

OFFICE HOURS

Our office hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

APPOINTMENTS

We encourage all our clients to make appointments to meet with our staff.

To make an appointment please call our receptionist on (03) 5572 2822 or (03) 5581 1622 and arrange a mutually convenient time.  Our staff are happy to see you outside business hours if required.

Please ensure that you bring any documentation relevant to your matter to your initial appointment.

PAYING OUR ACCOUNT

Paying our account is easy.

• Send us your cheque payable to Hunter Newns to PO Box 413 Hamilton VIC 3300
• Pay by Credit Card or EFTPOS at our Hamilton Office
• Pay directly into our trust account.  Our account details are located on the Remittance Section of your account.  Alternatively, you can contact us and we will happily provide you with the details.

FILE DESTRUCTION

Once work is completed, all files will be closed and archived for a period of at least seven (7) years, after which time the file may be destroyed without further notice to you.

 If you require any documents which may be held on your file, please notify us on completion of work.

 All Wills, deeds, Titles, and similar documents are not destroyed but are retained in our Deeds Room for safekeeping.

DEEDS ROOM 

At Hunter Newns we are happy to hold our client's documents in our Deeds Room free of charge.

In order to protect your interests, if you need to retrieve a document from our Deeds Room, you will be asked for photo identification and will  be required to sign for the document.

CERTIFYING, SWEARING AND WITNESSING DOCUMENTS

If you need a document sworn, certified or witnessed, please contact either of our offices for an appointment.
